Speedster Hall of Fame

The Model T Ford Club of America (MTFCA) established the Model T Ford Speedster and Racer Hall of Fame in 2005.  Its purpose is to perpetuate the memory of past and current individuals and companies that have brought lasting fame and positive recognition to the history of Model T Ford based speedsters and racers.  These individuals or companies can include, but not be limited to, collectors, restorers, historians, drivers, car owners, car builders, engine builders, mechanics, parts manufacturers, parts vendors, promoters, and media/PR personnel.

An independent Board of Directors made up of Hall of Fame Inductees and designated MTFCA members govern the Model T Ford Speedster and Racer Hall of Fame. Each year the Hall of Fame Board of Directors honors individuals who have made significant contributions in perpetuating the history of Model T speedsters and racers.  There are two categories of possible inductees as follows:

In addition, the Board of Directors annually honors a historically significant Speedster or Racer restoration as the Hall of Fame Speedster or Racer of the Year.  The Hall of Fame will honor the inductees or car selected with an award at a public ceremony that recognizes their achievements at a location designated by the Board of Directors.  The Hall of Fame will place on permanent public display a duplicate of the award presented to the individual, or member of a deceased individual’s family, at a location designated by the Board of Directors.
